Carole Hancock hat an zahlreichen Schauspielproduktionen mitgearbeitet, darunter Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Melbourne und Broadway, wo sie nominiert wurde für den Drama Desk Award 2018 für herausragende Perücken und Haare); Measure for Measure (Donmar Warehouse); Dusty – directed by Maria Friedman (Theatre Royal Bath); Country Girls (Chichester Theatre), On the Town (Regent’s Park Theatre), One Love (Birmingham Repertory Theatre), Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Children (alle Royal Court Theatre), Hamlet (Barbican), A Christmas Carol, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Sunny Afternoon, Mojo (alle West End), wonder.land (National Theatre/Manchester International Festival), Anything Goes (Sheffield Theatre), Versailles (Donmar Warehouse), Handbagged (Tricycle/Vaudeville), Pygmalion (UK-Tour), Much Ado About Nothing, Six Degrees of Separation, A Flea in Her Ear (alle Old Vic Theatre), The Low Road, Love, Love, Love, In Basildon, Chicken Soup and Barley (Royal Court Theatre), Paperdolls (Tricycle Theatre) sowie The Most Incredible Thing (Sadler’s Wells Theatre). Als Mitarbeiterin für Maskenbild begleitete sie The Lion King in London und bei internationalen Produktionen. Engagements in der Oper führten sie zu Mike Leighs Pirates of Penzance, Turandot, Les pêcheurs de perles, Lucia di Lammermoor (English National Opera), Cellini, Wozzeck, La Damnation de Faust, Der Ring des Nibelungen, Madama Butterfly, Cavalleria rusticana & I Pagliacci sowie Candide (UK und Japan). Im Ballett betreute sie Swan Lake am San Francisco Ballet. Außerdem arbeitet sie auch für die Modebranche, wie z. B. im Herbst 2008 für Jasper Conran. Zu ihren Film- und Fernsehverpflichtungen zählen Produktionen wie Warhorse, Batman, The Dark Knight Rises, Snow White and the Huntsman, Thor, Captain America und Game of Thrones.
